The recipes on our tables trace a real line. Iraqi stews and grills from the rivers of Mesopotamia, the sumac and pomegranate of the Levant, and the curries that the same trade routes carried east to Persia, India and beyond. We cook the whole road.
Masgouf-style grilled fish, slow lamb tishreeb, tomato and tamarind stews. The oldest written recipes on earth are Mesopotamian.
Sumac, pomegranate molasses, chargrilled mezze and warm flatbread straight off the saj.
Saffron, dried lime and rose, the bridge where our kitchen turns from stew toward curry.
Cardamom, coconut and chilli. Deeply spiced curries built the way a Baghdad cook would build a stew.
Everything on the menu travels. Call the kitchen, tell us when you want it, and collect it hot and boxed for the table at home.
Curry's & Co began with a simple idea: the food of Iraq deserves a room of its own, and it has always talked to the kitchens further east. So we built a menu that runs from a Baghdad grill to a bowl of coconut curry without ever losing the thread.
Come in for a long, shared table, or take the same cooking home. Either way you are eating along the oldest food road there is.
